The Headlines:

In the role of Director, Channel Strategy & Customer Solutions working in Toronto you will be part of the Ontario & West Retail Sales team. This position reports to the VP of Retail Sales and will work closely with the National brand & regional commercial teams across Ontario & Western Canada.  

 

The Responsibilities:

  • As a key partner to the Ontario-West retail sales VP, this individual is accountable for establishing the strategic direction for the different Channels in the Region and leading a team that can build channel specific customer solutions that deliver unique value to our strategic customers, for example TBS, LCBO & BCLS account for circa 33% of our MCBC revenue.
  • Managing the 3 Sr. Customer Solutions managers, this individual is accountable for a $13M budget and to lead the Joint Business Team strategy with our customers board of directors aligning Molson resources against Customer needs in a way that drives mutual growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: accountable for >$550M in annual revenue
    • Skilled at bringing together a virtual support team to add true value to our customers:
      • Commercial Centre of Excellence
      • Advanced Analytics team
      • Pricing & revenue management strategy team.
      • Lead role on Integrated Business Planning process
  • Customer Management: responsible for Board level customer engagement through the joint business planning process, this individual will steward the annual plan with the KAM teams & customers (TBS, LCBO & BCLS), ensuring the activations align to the portfolio and LRP strategies.
  • People Management: Attracts, leads and manages a team of 4 people to deliver against all business targets & develop talent.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to build and execute strategies that deliver improvements in performance
  • Established track record of performance
  • Strong communication and alignment skills
  • Strong Change management skills with ability to establish process improvements to drive better communication, forecasts, and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define KPI’s Influence leadership through business case building to drive continuous improvement for the region
  • Play a support role through Joint business teams to ensure we listen with our customers on their existing and emerging needs.
  • Manage a team with a focus of delivering unique solutions to customers
  • Strong P&L & Budget management skills.
  • University diploma required (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of Sales and/or cross functional commercial experience
  • Previous leadership / management experience
  • Experience of operating effectively within a matrix organization / “global brand’ structure.
  • Demonstrates effective influence and collaboration within and beyond the commercial function/throughout the organization
  • Ability to translate theory into strategy and strategy into actionable plans
