The Headlines

 

In the role of Data Governance and Business Reporting Analyst working in Toronto, you will be part of the Data Governance and Reporting team. The individual is responsible for the ownership and improvement of our data and reporting assets. Working closely with our Canadian and US IT counterparts, the candidate will facilitate the integration and alignment of our North America practices.  Leading data governance and quality initiatives to ensure trust amongst our data and enhancing data enablement amongst the business.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

You are a key member of a team and the point person around the use of data systems while ensuring that company standards are met:

  • Enhance data governance and quality processes with key stakeholders ensuring data integrity, and regional procedures are properly maintained.
  • Help usher product and data enhancement projects across Canada such as automating classifications, enhancing processes, and ensure consistency among classifications. Communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for training and developing proper related material to Improve user experience amongst Molson Coors Data/Products along with enhancing overall design and Data Literacy.
  • Work with Data Governance and Business Reporting Manager to enhance current and future data platforms/assets/tools to ensure they are setup to maximize business value.

 

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3- 4 years of experience working in Data Governance or other data related fields (Business Intelligence, Analytics, etc.) 

 

 

The Other Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Data Governance and Management software/tools (Axon, Collibra, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies (Teradata, Hanna, SAP etc)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau an asset
  • Familiar with R or Python an asset
  • Data savvy
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
  • Experience dealing with internal/external stakeholders/vendors.
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
  • You love a challenge. You act with appropriate urgency to various events and trends that require a quick turnaround
  • You are a natural seeker for better business practices
