The Headlines


In the role of Data Coordinator  (6 month contract) working in Toronto, you will be part of the Data Governance and Reporting  team lead by Christopher Tansella, Data Governance and Reporting Manager.  The individual is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our customer specific datasets. Working closely with our Canadian and US IT counterparts, the candidate will facilitate the integration and alignment of our north America practices.  The incumbent of the role also ensures reporting is adequate from an end user perspective and the information is accurate.


The responsabilities:

You are a key member of a team and the point person around the use of data systems while ensuring that company standards are met:

  • Perform periodic data quality reviews on internal and external data sets.
  • Maintain, mapping and enter data for Molson’s internal and external data sets.
  • Timely identify issues with data and trigger actions to fix source systems to ensure effective end user experiences and analysis.
  • Work closely with IT to decrease the time to resolution for technical issues.
  • Improve data management processes and make recommendations for data quality initiatives.
  • Manage data purchases and subscription renewals.


You are a change agent:

  • Educate Management/Business on current reporting offering to ensure full utilization.
  • Facilitate greater democratization of our data sets to a wider user range.
  • Propose new ways of looking at current information to unearth business insights.

  • You love a challenge. You act with appropriate urgency to various events and trends that require a quick turnaround.
  • You are a natural seeker for better business practices.  
  • High attention to detail
  • Understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.); BW and Tableau are a plus.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • You respect your commitments and can obtain support from cross-function members.
  • You have at least 1 yearof experience with most, if not all, above responsibilities described.
  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check (if locally applicable).
