The Headlines:

 

The Customer Operations Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Customer Operations Manager in driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives that deliver value to our frontline sales team. They will assist in planning and implementing important operational strategies and tactics in our commercialization process that will positively impact the service we provide to retail customers who sell Molson Coors products (our customers) and consequently, impact our overall business performance. They will identify and find solutions for reoccurring issues impacting our ability to provide best-in-class customer service to retailers, and their results will track against our customer service scorecard.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Sales operations: Supply inventory management to support sales teams, reducing out of stocks and mitigating commercial risk
  • Sales planning: Identify key customer milestones and ensure alignment across marketing, supply chain, and sales in the development of product and communications plans to enable a smooth transition to retail
  • Strategic initiatives: Regularly partner with stakeholders (supply chain, demand planning/forecasting, brand, and sales) at all levels to understand and align on supply chain solutions that remove barriers for the commercial organization
  • Product implications and management: Act as the regional lead for all quality issues including product recalls, distributor audit process, and shelf-life and/or shipping policies
  • All throughout, participate in review meetings and act as key point of contact between sales and supply chain to a) receive information about key issues in market (from sales); b) feed these issues into supply chain teams; and c) loop solutions and customer messaging back into sales teams

  • You are confident, diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships 
  • You are deadly serious about execution and take pride in a proven track record in delivering results 
  • You are a strong team player that can inspire others; you respect your commitments, hold yourself and others around you accountable 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
  • You have 5-8 years of progressive experience across supply chain and sales (CPG industry experience is a bonus)
  • You have experience in forecasting, demand planning, and brand/product launches and commercialization
  • You bring a proven track record of breaking down complex problems to deliver simple solutions
  • You have experience advising and directing business solutions driven from data and analytics
  • You are experienced and have demonstrated success in planning, developing, and executing key initiatives across a commercial organization
  • You have an understanding of how sales and provincial systems operate with the ability to make connections to the company’s overall business strategy
