The Headlines:

In the role of Customer Solutions Analyst, you will be a member of the National Retail Sales Team.  You will be a key strategic business partner for the sales organization and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of category management processes, tools, insights, planograms and action plans that enable world class category management with our customers.


This position reports to the Director of Channel Strategy and Customer Solutions –and works closely with Customer Solution Managers, Key Account Managers, Category Insight Executives, Shopper Marketing Executives and Space Field teams.


The Responsibilities:

Supporting our ambition to become First Choice for our Customers and our People, this individual will be instrumental in supporting the sales organization to deliver a consistent National process to category development with our customers including:

  • Assist in the creation of a national store cluster model and process
  • Support provincial and customer level assortment recommendations, working closely with Key Account and Customer Solution partners
  • Collaborating with Category and Shopper Executives to develop sequence and flow recommendations for customers
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to provide category recommendations and planogram recommendations to support partner captaincy
  • Support the creation and delivery of POG sets working closely with North American Space Lab team
  • Collaborate with Advanced Analytics, Category Executives and Shopper Marketing Executives to help shape the progression of the MCBC category management ambitions
  • Ability to track performance, generate insights through multiple databases and build and present recommendations to better the performance of MCBC and its customers

  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Tableau, JDA, and Neilsen
  • Experience in supporting the creation of cluster modelling, space management and category management
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are deadly serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering. 
  • You are motivated and can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
  • You are driven to exhibit your strong problem-solving skills by making informed decisions

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
  • You have at least 5- to 10-years’ experience, preferably multi-functional (Sales, Marketing)
