The Headlines:   

 

In the role of Commercial Communications Manager working in Toronto, Ontario, you will be part of the Communications & Corporate Affairs Team. You will drive our communications strategy to build momentum for our brands, confidence in and support execution of our commercial priorities.

 

This position reports to the Director, Commercial Communications and works closely with the President of the Canada Sales and senior commercial leaders and their teams to ensure communications are clear, consistent and connected to commercial priorities. 

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to commercial leaders, including internal and external-facing presentations.
  • Lead execution of virtual and/or live meetings for internal and external audiences and regular strategic commercial written communications.
  • Develop and execute a communications plan to build momentum for our brands, confidence in and support execution of commercial priorities across the Canadian market, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics.
  • Collaborate across teams to help enable the commercial team win, particularly as the route- route-to-market landscape evolves in Ontario.                    
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of our communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Create communications as needed to support major commercial initiatives.                         
  • Collaborate as needed with the employee engagement team to support communications for our employees located in Canada.          

 

 

 

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing OR equivalent experience (4+ years) 
  • You have 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field
  • You have strong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills that include program/event planning and tactical execution. Fluency in Canadian French is a plus.
  • You have extensive knowledge of the beverage industry and experience working with a commercial (sales) organization      
  • You have a thorough understanding of communication platforms, editorial storytelling and content creation.                                
  • You have experience translating business strategy into an effective communications plan and execute for specialized programs and segmented audiences.              
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
