The Headlines
We are currently looking for a Business Reporting and Data Quality Analyst (12 months temporary contract). Under the Canada Data Governance and Analytics team, part of Americas Commercial Accelerator, this Analyst will be responsible for implementing mechanisms/tools to prevent, detect, and communicate data quality issues in both our external and internal data. Being a data and reporting champion for the business, you will help support existing reports and support ongoing changes in our reporting suite/technologies based on user feedback and market needs. You will also help support the charge of building and supporting data literacy and training initiatives on multiple reporting tools and Data environments.
This is a tremendous learning opportunity, a chance to build trustable & actionable reports, to establish clear accountability, to support our data & reporting strategy with our new beverage categories and get visibility throughout our Molson Coors Canadian Commercial Function.
What You Will Be Accountable For:
- Lead and support in correctly classifying and segmenting data
- Lead and support in conducting daily data integrity and validity checks
- Lead and maintain Product Master data
- Supporting and championing automation efforts
- Support Canadian Data Governance (and align with Americas Commercial on shared KPIs) to establish Data Management Accountability, Policies and Procedures.
- Support in developing and enforcing Canadian data and reporting standards.
- Champion data quality projects and initiatives building trust and accountability in the Canadian organization.
- Contribute in maintaining the Business Reports Framework (Standard vs Ad-hoc, which Reporting Tools to use from our IT standardized tool), partnering with IT to Enable new reporting capabilities driving incremental actionable insights.
- Support in managing adhoc reporting based on business requests and needs.
- Support key Analytics initiatives including partnering with Advance Analytic team and Enterprise data (IT) and analytics capabilities.
- Become the SME for Canadian Data and Reporting
If You Have The Following…We Want To Hear From You!
- University Degree with focus on IT, Data Science, Engineering or other relevant fields
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with IT, Data Science, Data Governance, Data Lakes, Data Management; CPG company experience is a plus
- Strong background in reporting automation through BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, WEBI, Databricks or any similar data & reporting tools
- Experienced with statistical software packages such as R, Python and/or SAS
- Understanding in the data lifecycle, metadata, data lineage, business glossary and data dictionary, data quality and data profiling, master and reference data, and issue remediation.
- Able to apply logic and problem solving to complex business problems.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to various audiences including the ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership.
