The Headlines

In the role of Brand Planning and Analytics Manager working in Toronto, you will be part of the Commercial Planning, Analytics and Filed Sales Management team lead by Nicolas Ross.  The Brand Planning and Analytics Manager is the lead person for coordinating and leading brand planning practices for his or her respective team.  The candidate also plays a role around analytics by extracting and translating data into meaningful insights leading to decisions on the business which are to be shared during the executive monthly business cycles.  The role also ensure reporting is adequate from an end user standpoint while being their representative during new report developments with design experts (IT). 

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, support and facilitate the steps leading to the commercial kick-off planning meeting and, through the completion of the annual brand targets.
  • Support his or her brand team with planning product innovations on an operational standpoint to ensure various business needs are met.
  • Work with Sales planning and Customer Solution Manager teams to ensure planning material is standardized and adequate while meeting account team requirements.
  • Support his or her brand team with the preparation of the monthly marketing reviews.
  • The candidate also plays a role in seeking continuous improvements with our annual brand planning process and business practices.
  • Support with extracting and translating data into meaningful insights on requests emerging from strategic business discussions.
  • Ensure proper reporting is in place and represents end users for report information adjustments or new developments if needed.

  • You have a University degree in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance (MBA is a plus)
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in the CPG industry, Key account management, Marketing, BI, Sales finance or other business planning roles at a CPG company
  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check (if locally applicable).
