The Associate Insights Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing both brand performance and innovation by bringing deep human understanding into every stage of decision making. In this role, you will guide brand and innovation teams with consumer centric insights drawn from thoughtful secondary evaluation and purposeful primary research. You will be responsible for developing and communicating integrated learning plans that support brand strategy and innovation priorities. Your work ensures that the voice of the consumer is fully embedded in how we create, refine and activate both existing brands and future offerings. This position partners closely with brand leaders and innovation partners to champion insights that are actionable, inspiring and essential for smart marketing choices and breakthrough growth.

What You’ll Be Brewing:    

  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to support brand strategy & execution, creative development and campaign effectiveness. Manage relationship with external agencies to scope, brief and oversee execution of research projects.
  • Synthesize insights from multiple sources including NIQ, behavioral and brand equity tracking studies to support key brand questions and assessment of opportunities.
  • Sets the consumer learning agenda (and budgeting) for pipeline initiatives including opportunity identification, concept development & validation, naming, liquid testing, target definition, packaging development, positioning, etc.
  • Responsible for integrating multiple data sources – both primary and secondary (consumer tracking, behavior tracking, custom quantitative research, various qualitative research projects, etc.) and cultural insights (Kantar, IWSR, WGSN) to drive strategic recommendations, inspire idea development and provide analysis and associated recommendations to teams.
  • Translate data into strategic insights and recommendations for brand teams, develop critical insights that support brand foundations.
  • Deliver clear and compelling reports and presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure that research aligns with business needs and timelines.

  

Who We’re Looking For

Key Ingredients: 

  • At least 3 years of consumer research experience (supplier, client or agency)
  • Prior experience of CPG Consumer Insights or Innovation Insights
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies; ability to translate insights into action
  • Ability to balance focus on short-term innovation needs of the business with longer term
  • Strategic thinking on the forefront of new trends; looking for the next new thing 
  • Extensive knowledge of consumer insights and the innovation landscape/process with ability to translate to impactful recommendations and white space opportunities
  • Able to identify and synthesize consumer information into actionable insights to key stakeholders that influence strategic decisions.
  • Clear, concise communication & story telling through data

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $83,300.00 - $109,300.00 (posting salary range) + 11% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
