The Headlines:
In the role of Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager working in Toronto, you will be part of the Ontario/West Sales Team. This position reports to the Senior Customer Solutions Manager and will work closely with Sales and Brand teams as well as across the Customer Solutions Teams (Grocery, Liquor, TBS and Independent Retail) in order to ensure seamless execution of strategies, field sales tools and all in-store activations for our customers. This role will be unique in that it works across all channels and connects across multiple touchpoints in the business.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate Shopper Marketing Initiatives that span channels for the Customer Solutions Teams in Ontario/West.
  • Own and maintain calendars including provincial calendars and customer facing programming calendars for impactful presentations.
  • Create packaging calendar for packaging changes, decorative packaging and promotional packaging.
  • Collaborate with and manage the flow of information between partner functions to ensure teams are up to date on changes to programs and timing ensuring flawless execution.
  • Develop best in class sell sheets and selling tools across all programs and provinces.
  • Responsible for identifying cross-team opportunities for shopper marketing efficiencies and scaling across teams. This includes savings as well as opportunities to elevate execution.
  • Act as a representative in cross functional meetings for programs and innovation projects.
  • Support all channels and Customer Solutions Teams to fill gaps in shopper marketing initiatives – POS, display etc. as well as opportunities that arise outside of planned calendar.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in Sales, Trade Marketing and/or Marketing, preferably within CPG or related industry
  • You have superior communication and consulting skills
  • You have strong Negotiating skills
  • You are creative and an innovative thinker
  • You can build and sustain strong internal/external business relationships
