The Headlines:
Molson Coors Beverage Company is currently recruiting for the position of Asset Care Planner & Scheduler for our St. John's brewery. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who possesses outstanding communications skills and has strong problem-solving abilities.
The Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Work with a safety mindset and ensure brewery and Asset Care compliance with all relevant EH&S legislation and regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Be self-motivated, hard-working and energetic
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and to complete repairs effectively and efficiently
- Willingness to champion a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance with safety, quality, and reliability as key priorities
- Lead the team's pursuit of continuous improvement under the umbrella of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC)
- Always operate in alignment with Our Purpose, Ambition and Values
The Asset Care Planner & Scheduler will:
- Help the operations teams plan, schedule and implement proactive and preventive maintenance
- Support the brewery’s goal to become high performing and cost effective, working both at the situational and systemic level
- Help with the execution and sustainability of World Class Supply Chain efforts for the process areas and teams
- Be responsible for maintaining central stores/spare parts to ensure we can support any potential equipment failures
- Inspire, engage, and develops others to attain business and personal goals
- Understand and apply the Collective Agreement to develop a productive environment
- Support equipment capital improvement projects in the brewery with early equipment management (EEM) processes
- Support/backfill the Asset Care Team Leader as/if the need arises
The Other Qualifications:
- You have a minimum of 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance (asset care) planner/scheduler
- Your education includes an Interprovincial Trades Certificate as an Industrial Millwright, Electrician, or Instrumentation Technologist (or equivalent), or a College diploma or University degree in a related field
- Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) is a requirement
- Preference will be given to candidates with SAP experience
- You have excellent computer skills, are an effective communicator, an innovative problem solver and a strong decision maker
- You have demonstrated your ability to coach, motivate, and work with maintenance employees in a unionized environment
- Experience working in a high-speed consumer packaged goods environment is a plus
- Project Management experience is an advantage
