The Headlines: 

We are looking for a Finance Manager – Grocery for a position located in Montreal. The person will be responsible for the fiscal management and will act as business partner for the grocery network and distributors of East of Canada. 


The responsibilities: 

  • Working collaboratively with the commercial manager in the achievement of targets by producing business insight financial reporting. 

  • Ensure investments and commercial agreements are supported with appropriate business cases and ROI analytics. 

  • Coordinate monthly closing process, prepare monthly forecast and annual operational plan. 

  • Production and communication of financial performance business reporting (rate / volume / mix analysis), profitability by province, segment, customer and skus. Trade rebates and operational expenses. 

  • Work closely with all stakeholders to identify and quantify all the risk and opportunities that could have an impact on the financial plan. 

  • Ensure accurate customer pricing, rebates and other elements impacting customer billings. Assist in resolving escalated customer receivable issues. 

  • Responsible for enforcement of global and local finance policies and internal controls and documentation of standard operating policies. 



  • You have a university degree in administration with a speciality in accounting or finance. 

  • You have an CPA accounting designation 

  • You speak French and English. 

  • You have 7 to 10 of valuable experience in finance or accounting, especially operational finance management. 

  • You have experience in the consumer goods industry (an asset). 

  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business.  

  • You are serious about results and take pride in a proven record of accomplishment in delivering. 

  • Strong knowledge of technology tools such as MS-Suite and SAP/BW
