The Headlines: 
As a National Supply Planner & Scheduler, you will play a critical dual role combining end-to-end supply planning and master production scheduling. You will manage the development and execution of integrated supply plans (6-16 weeks horizon) while owning the production planning (0–6 weeks horizon) for brewing, filtration, and packaging operations.

Based in St. John’s, NL, you will collaborate closely with commercial, manufacturing, and logistics teams across Canada and the U.S. to ensure a balanced supply plan aligned with service, cost, inventory, and production efficiency targets. Supports World Class Supply Chain pillars and strategies by partnering with brewery and distribution teams to ensure efficient operations, exceptional service levels, and continuous improvement across the network.

This position reports to the Supply and Services Manager – Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Responsibilities:
Supply Planning (6-16 Weeks Horizon)

  • Lead and administer the national supply planning process to develop and execute integrated product supply plans.
  • Contribute to the S&OP process by developing detailed supply plans aligned with demand, capacity, and financial targets.
  • Translate demand forecasts into executable supply and inventory strategies across the network.
  • Ensure supply plans respect production, material, and distribution constraints.
  • Provide visibility and recommendations to stakeholders across the integrated supply chain.
  • Monitor execution of production and supply plans and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Brewing, Packaging, Logistics, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
  • Support supply chain performance improvements related to service, cost, inventory, and productivity.

 

Master Production Scheduling (0–6 Weeks Horizon)

  • Own and maintain the master production schedule for brewing, filtration, and packaging across assigned breweries
  • Develop detailed weekly production schedules based on supply plans, capacity, and operational constraints.
  • Optimize sequencing to minimize changeovers (format/liquid) and maximize line efficiency.
  • Ensure production orders are released on time to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly production planning meetings with brewery teams.
  • Balance inventory levels of finished goods and materials to support service targets.
  • Identify risks (capacity, materials, service) and implement contingency plans proactively.
  • Support raw material planning and ensure alignment with production schedules.
  • Participate in projects, RCCP reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the interdependencies of capacity and production planning, scheduling processes, distribution modes, inventory management, flow and materials planning, as well as a basic understanding of forecasting, transportation, distributor operating activities, and sales.
  • Provide recommendations and contribute to tactical planning in the short and medium term across multiple sectors.
  • Analyze large volumes of information and assess and resolve complex problems in a rapidly evolving, ambiguous environment.
  • Possess knowledge of cutting-edge supply chain management systems and processes. Familiar with SAP & o9 planning and optimization systems.
  • Ability to execute new strategies that give Molson Coors a competitive advantage in the market through efficient product supply processes.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and develop product supply strategies that meet the objectives of both the customers and Molson Coors.
  • Ability to quickly assess situations, determine the root causes of problems, create multiple solutions, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively at various organizational and functional levels across Molson Coors.
  • Ability to establish and rapidly develop effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to operate at both the tactical and operational levels in implementing product supply strategies and plans that execute Molson Coors' long-term business strategies and effectively meet the day-to-day needs of Molson Coors and its customers.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex technical and analytical issues in simple business language to a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.

 

Education or Experience:

  • 5 years or more of experience in supply chain planning, operations management, or a related discipline.

 

Other Qualifications:

  • You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field with 1 to 3 years of inventory management experience.
  • Experience in logistics or production scheduling is preferred.
  • You have excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • You possess experience with SAP processes or relevant inventory management experience.
  • You enjoy challenges and complete complex projects quickly and adeptly, thanks to your understanding of business priorities.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to achieve desired results.
  • You take responsibility for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You have a thirst for learning – always seeking ways to learn and help each other grow.

  • You are fully bilingual in French and English.
  • You are able to travel within Canada and/or the U.S. 2 to 3 times a year.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $76,400.00 - $100,300.00 (posting salary range) + 11% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
