We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous person to manage order picking activities at the Longueuil brewery's automated distribution centre.

 

Place of work: Longueuil (St-Hubert)

Shift: Evening

 

The coordinator will be temporarily called upon to work on the Montreal and Longueuil site until the end of 2022.

 

Specifically, you will have to:

 

  • Coordinate the work of the warehouse team by distributing the tasks of employees and ensuring the smooth running of operations in order to meet daily needs;
  • Coach employees, develop their skills, sense of responsibility and autonomy;
  • Ensure good management of the resources in place and the various automated modules in order to obtain operational fluidity;
  • Establish a climate conducive to teamwork with the employees of the department and the various partners of the other departments;
  • Ensure compliance with and enforcement of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines to ensure that all affected employees comply with these requirements;
  • Understand the collective agreement and ensure its application;
  • Perform data entry necessary to track key performance indicators for the warehouse.

 

 

If you have the following, we want to get to know you:

 

  • DEC in operations management, logistics and transportation or training in a similar discipline;
  • Five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution company;
  • Supervisory experience in a unionized environment;
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • Able to withstand and manage well-planned situations requiring rapid interventions;
  • Have problem-solving skills and be an agent of change;
  • Sense of organization and management of priorities;
  • Knowledge of SAP software – EWM Module (an asset);
  • Functional bilingualism (an asset).
