The Headlines

 

In the role of Key Account Representative working across the three Maritime Provinces (NS, NB, PE), you will be part of the Canadian Commercial Team. The person will be responsible for the development and execution of a strategy for key Maritimes Private Retail Customers. The Key Account Representative will be measured on their ability to deliver short term and long term sustainable profit and volume growth for Molson Coors while delivering against the specific needs of their customer.

This position reports to Richard Cashen, the Retail Key Account Manager – Maritimes, and will be based out of Halifax, NS. The role works closely with the members of the Atlantic Commercial team, leadership teams and has cross-functional touchpoints in many parts of the business. They also communicate and coordinate with field sales (and other departments) daily on where appropriate to execute customer/brand plans.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop customer strategy and ensure delivery against the approved strategy
  • Deliver channel volume, market share, and profit targets
  • Lead cross functional virtual business team for the customer
  • Develop specific customer/channel/brand plans, with support from channel marketing team
  • Manage and execute assigned customer budgets
  • Communicate/coordinate with Field Sales and Market Manager (and other departments) where appropriate to execute customer/brand plans
  • Maintain/develop strong customer relationships and maintain customer matched contact list
  • Organize and execute specific events within customer group
  • Develop “key influencers” network
  • Assist Key Account Manager on co-ordination duties for selected Maritimes Key Accounts
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory policies
  • Serve as the “voice of the customer” within Molson Coors

 

The Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
  • You have 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience in a packaged goods or beverage alcohol industry, with 1-2 years’ experience in handling regional/national key accounts
