The Headlines:
Molson Coor Beverage Company is currently recruiting for the position of Facilities Lead. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who possesses outstanding communications skills and has strong problem-solving abilities. The candidate, who will provide leadership of the facility maintenance program in support of brewery operations. This candidate will be comfortable in a fast paced, multi-tasked, consumer packaged goods environment.
The Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Work with a safety mindset and ensure brewery and Asset Care compliance with all relevant EH&S legislation and regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Be self-motivated, hard-working and energetic
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and to complete repairs effectively and efficiently
- Willingness to champion a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance with safety, quality, and reliability as key priorities
- Lead the team's pursuit of continuous improvement under the umbrella of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC)
- Always operate in alignment with Our Purpose, Ambition and Values
The Facilities Lead will be responsible for:
- All brewery facilities maintenance and repair, including fixed and variable work and improvement projects.
- Responsible for selection of facilities vendors and creating contracts for all services.
- Creating POs for facilities work, processing invoices and developing annual budget.
- Planning and managing projects: Facilities related stand-alone projects
- Acting as responsible person and managing all contractors on site; including orientation, permitting, supervision
- Maintaining facilities: Ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and functional
- Performing inspections: Regularly inspecting systems and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
- Communicating: Communicating with team members, other departments, and key stakeholders about project updates, risks, and changes
- Support of capital improvement projects in the brewery
Other attributes that would be considered to be assets:
- Knowledge of facilities services: HVAC, Fire life safety, Electrical, Janitorial, Pest Control
- Previous experience managing contractors; supervision, POs and invoicing.
- Safety training regarding contractors’ management in facilities
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and make quick decisions in response to any equipment downtime issues in plant specific to facilities.
- Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)
The Other Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a facilities maintenance role
- Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
- Experience in an Asset Care department is a plus
