The Headlines:    

In the role of Project Engineer working in Chilliwack, British Columbia you will be part of the maintenance and engineering team.You will 

be responsible for the overall management of project planning and execution for the Fraser Valley Brewery. You will be considered a subject matter expert and have advisory influence over technical direction/strategy in your area of expertise. This position has responsibility for resource management and work coordination with multiple stakeholders.


This position reports to the Maintenance & Engineering Managerand works closely with maintenance personnel. 


The Responsibilities: 

  • Managing project engineering and execution for the brewery and lead the project process ensuring to meet MCBC requirements
  • Leading the Project Process that governs all capital projects from concept to post project review including working with all stake holders (corporate, production, vendors, ect) to identify optimal time for projects to take place, and to reduce impacts on the business
  • Ensuring that quality, cost and other performance criteria are met for projects while conforming to regulatory and accreditation standards
    • This includes developing budgets and schedules in advance, and auditing performance to check compliance with these expectations, informing stakeholders of deviations and adjusting plans accordingly
  • Working with operational, business, and marketing teams to identify current and future CAPEX business requirement specifications
  • Managing projects to safely shutdown the process, implement change, and then bring the process back up seamlessly while minimizing impact on production targets/schedules
  • Other duties as assigned




  • You have aBachelorsdegreein EngineeringOR equivalent experience (4+ years)
  • You have atleast4 years direct work experience
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
