The Headlines:   

In the role of Production Services Manager working in Chilliwack, you will be part of the operations function. You will provide leadership for optimizing efficiency in the areas of planning and scheduling. Responsible for utilizing MillerCoors Manufacturing Way best practices and processes which contribute to world class standards of operation.  Lead the preparation and development of the brewery production throughput plan. Liaison for brewery between corporate planning and scheduling.

 

Lead and motivate direct scheduling team. Ensure collaboration and communication of scheduling specialists in production scheduling, brewing, and packaging in order to optimize overall production schedules.
 

Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly annual production schedules in conjunction with corporate planning and scheduling which identify production targets and resulting targets for materials procurement, asset care and employee work scheduling.  Monitor performance against plans, communicate deviations to corporate planning and scheduling and modifies production schedules as appropriate.

 

This position reports to the General Manager – FVB.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Leads optimization of scheduling through ensuring brew, packaging and shipping plans are optimized for total lowest cost execution and customer service, in conjunction with the run strategy.
  • Leads the preparation and development of the brewery production throughput plan.
  • Manages the finished goods inventory, order handling system, and oversight for minimizing aging beer/beer sources. 
  • Liaison for brewery between corporate planning.
  • Leads team performance, talent, and career management and creates a culture of employee engagement.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a BS or BA in business/technical field OR equivalent experience (4+ years).
  • You have at least 6 years experience in scheduling.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.
