The Headlines:

 

The Leadership/Payroll Administrator is responsible for the administrative support of all departments. This position will play a key suport role for the GM, Department Managers, and supervisors. They will be expected to manage time and set priorities acording to Brewery goals and priorities. This position will work very independently, but bare responsibilities to multiple managers/supervisors.

The incumbent responsibilities will includ (but is not limited to) providing support as required to HR Department for benefits and attendance management, office adminstration; data entry, forms management, systems tracking and filling, Payroll administration and departmental scheduling.

 

 This position will take a lead in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, including maintenance and supply ordering for office equipment, planning and organizing events and lunches as required by office staff, and other duties as assigned. Communications internally and externally will be a responsibility of this role.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to all department, including managing room and meeting bookings, ordering lunches for meetings/events, planning and scheduling events (Summer BBQ, Holiday Parties ect), preparing office memo's and communications
  • Forms/system management and tracking (attendance, vacation, work order management)
  • Meeting presentation preparation, minutes, recording and storage.
  • Managing reports - seniority, timesheets etc. and creating system generated reports for presentation to Departmental and Brewery Leadership. Data entry (Training Matrix, Ivara, Change over sheets, OPL’s and departmental procedures)
  • Managing employee sick line and administrative tasks as associated with WI, LTD claims for hourly personnel.  
  • Responsible for processing hourly payroll in Dayforce -  processing weekly for all unionized employees (DAR entry, discrepancy resolution, batching), adhering to applicable payroll best practices, tax and CRA requirments, and applicable CBA's

 

What we're looking for:

  •  2-3 years of relevant work/office experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing payroll systems and related tasks
  • Problem Solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities
