The Headlines:   

 

In the role of Manager, Internal Communications working in Chicago you will bring to life our internal communications strategy focused on building employee belief in our company’s future. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure that all internal communication is clear, consistent, and connected to the company’s goals and values. You will also bring a measurement mindset to create and deliver compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company’s culture.

 

This role is part of the Communications and Community Affairs team and reports to our Director of Internal Communications.

The Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead the development and drive the execution of our internal communications strategy for the organization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and leaders across the organization to ensure all internal communication builds belief in the company’s future and supports the company’s culture and values.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are driving understanding of the company's plans, our employees’ place in them, and how they can help the company succeed.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
  • Assist with employee-focused events (i.e. Town Halls, Annual Meetings, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with the entire Communications and Community Affairs team to drive storytelling efforts throughout the organization.

The Other Qualifications:  

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications OR equivalent experience in the field of Communications
  • You have at least 8 years progressive experience in Communications
