The Headlines:  

In the role of Manager, Corporate Occupational Health & Wellness, working in Milwaukee, WI you will lead occupational health and wellness, coordinate medical case management, and champion employee advocacy to the corporation and it’s facilities.  In coordination with other corporate areas, you will set the strategic direction for, and facilitate the implementation and evalutation of the following: Occupational Health / Medical Surveillance, Workers’ Compensation, Wellness, Family and Medical Leave, Disability Benefits, and other Health related programs       
This position reports to the EHS Director, and works closely with all teams across the organization, including Risk Management and Benefits to develop criteria for preferred providers and suppliers in Occupational Health and Wellness.


The Responsibilities: 
•    Leads the design and consistent implementation of occupational health protocols as required by the corporation, as well as governmental laws/regulations.  Such testing includes, but is not limited to, post-offer employee physicals, DOT exams, audiometric testing, respirator user evaluations, drug testing, EAP, etc.
•    Collaborates with Risk Management, Legal and HR to develop corporate policies and procedures to achieve best practices in the workers’ compensation program
•    Partners with EHS stakeholders to develop incident prevention plans to drive down work-related injuries / illnesses
•    Analyzes and reports on the results of wellness initiatives, and adjusts program direction accordingly
•    Oversees the design, implementation and evaluation of local medical First Responder programs


The Other Qualifications: 
•    7+ years of experience in occupational health, including experience in medical surveillance, workers’ compensation, wellness, disability management, family/medical leaves and return-to-work programs.
•    You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health related field. Current license in applicable state of work as a Registered Nurse preferred.
•    Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) or Certified Insurance Rehabilitation Specialist (CIRS) or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRD) Preferred.
•    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
•    You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy  
•    You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business 
•    You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
