The Headlines:

In the role of Hospitality Coordinator working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be part of the Guest Relations team. The person will be focused on providing assistance in management of the Miller Inn staff and employee pub, as well as coordinating internal and external groups on event planning in our space.

 

This position reports to the Hospitality Supervisor and works closely with the guest servers, tour guides, retail staff, other guest relations coordinators and supervisors, and other internal and external customers.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the Hospitality Supervisor in management of the staff – including but not limited to new-hire training, performance management and evaluation, scheduling, uniforms, etc.
  • Assist in coordination of internal and external groups on event planning set-up, including but not limited to major fundraisers, donation events, beer tastings, employee gatherings, and business meetings
  • Assist with the coordination of catering services, beer orders, staffing entertainment, and special needs for events within our venues
  • Market hospitality services to external community audiences in tandem with the Visitor Operations Supervisor
  • Work with managing the inventory at the Miller Inn and employee pub, including but not limited to all beer, food, cleaning supplies, and paper product
  • Provide world class customer service guidelines and requirements to all staff ambassadors

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
  • You have minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • You have demonstrated competency using Microsoft office computer programs
  • You have strong communication, organization, problem solving, and customer service skills to efficiently and effectively supervise entry level staff as need
  • You have the ability to work standard working business hours, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend responsibilities as the point person overseeing the entire Guest Relations department
