The Headlines

In the role of Finance Manager, Materials Costing based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will provide the finance support on component material standard costing related to the Canadian business and being a key liaison with our procurement team to communicate performance drivers. This role’s primary focus is financial reporting.

 

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Finance – Procurement and will work closely with our procurement team (specifically those working with the Canadian business) to clearly communicate performance drivers as well as our supply chain finance team to provide a clear, consolidated view to upcoming business risks and opportunities. The role does not have direct reports but will be expected to lead and coach lower level team members as necessary and serve as a visible change agent.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Explains monthly results to procurement team, providing key insights for full year forecasts on commodity and packaging pricing, hedging, and F/X and validates and challenges monthly results as well as corresponding LE
  • Communicates monthly variance analysis as well as financial forecast to internal and external stakeholders, working closely with the supply chain team to
  • Work closely with the supply chain finance team to provide a clear, consolidated view to upcoming business risks and opportunities
  • Validates and tracks performance on Procurement lead saving projects and use financial expertise to identify new savings opportunities
  • Lead Annual Operating plan process for procurement, including standard costing, contract management, and pricing
  • Drives efficiencies in reporting and transactional work and to continue to expand the role beyond its current scope

                                                    

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or another relative 4-year degree
  • 7 or more years of progressive corporate finance experience and strong Excel skills; SAP experience is preferred
  • You possess a solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls; CPA preferred
  • You have a solid understanding of manufacturing operations
  • You have very strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a sense of urgency in resolving issues.
  • You demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and collaboration skills and can work with many different personalities, experience, and job levels, and have the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • You are detail oriented with critical focus on producing quality results while demonstrating effective influence and collaboration without formal authority
