The Headlines:  

In the role of Associate R&D Brewer II, working in Milwaukee, WI, you will carry out effective pilot and large-scale trials to inform new process developments/innovations.  You will actively engage in the review of processes in Pilot and propose process, equipment or automation improvements, to make the process and activities in the pilot plant efficient and enabling.  
 
This position reports to the Manager, Pilot Brewing Systems, and works closely with internal partners including Quality, Innovation, Supply Chain Excellence and Procurement.

 

The Responsibilities: 
•    Lead the technical aspects of given projects using the Molson Coors Brilliant Execution Toolkit.  Ensure projects are managed and undertaken in the correct way in line with audit requirements.
•    Act as liaison between external research projects and Brewing Innovation team.  Work cross functionally with legal, etc. to identify any areas which can be exploited to deliver value.
•    Stay up to date with academic research in the area of beer and process development.

 

The Other Qualifications: 
•    2+ years of experience in brewing/operational experience from a brewing company, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in food / beverage process development.
•    You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Brewing, Science or related field.
•    R&D and change management experience is preferred.
•    You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy  
•    You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
