The Headlines

 

In the role of Warehouse Shipping Specialist working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Rocky Mountain Metal Container team.  The MillerCoors Can Manufacturing Plant is the largest single aluminum can manufacturing plant in the world, producing approximately 4 billion cans per year.  

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily scheduling of Can Plant production to optimize and meet the demands of our commercial customers’ orders.
  • This position will be responsible for scheduling appropriate shipments from the warehouse to our customers so cans are delivered on time, the right product every time.
  • Analyze daily Cell Bin delivery schedules required at GBBU and provide direction to can line and warehouse loading functions.
  • Make necessary adjustments to Cell Bin schedule to meet packaging requirements while still considering the productivity and efficiency of the Can line and Warehouse functions.
  • Act as main contact in a high volume control center.
  • Answer all relevant scheduling questions and coordinate problem resolution between departments involved with can supply.

 

The Other Qualifications –

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED Related work experience:
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, provide direction to plant work force, prepare reports, and monitor accuracy of departmental records. Monitor transportation flow and provide inventory control.
