The Headlines:  

In the role of Continuous Improvement Specialist working in Denver, CO you will be part of the Operations team. The person will conduct analysis and identify opportunities to create efficiencies and drive productivity within the Warehouse function. In this role, you will plan and execute projects designed to improve processes within the Warehouse function, utilizing data to develop and implement new processes.

 

This position reports to Sr. Operations Manager and works closely with the Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain groups.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Assists and supports the workflow and lean manufacturing processes for the Warehouse team. Analyzes current productions methods using lean manufacturing principles; benchmarks and forms

  • Facilitates with the implementation of the single-piece-flow work-cells together with production staff to meet daily product demand with minimal staffing requirement

  • Recommends machinery, hand tools, processes, and proceedures that help improve product/component quality, reduce lead times, or reduce manpower requirements

  • Optimizes or redesigns process flows to meet proect requirements, identifies and manages resources for process improvement projects. Determines project scope and schedules accordingly based on business needs

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve efficiency. Assists in developing process improvement policies and infastructure

  • Conducts time studies for all Warehouse processes, including replenishment, repack returned beer, trailer loading/unloading, staging, and equipment, including process flow map and improvements 

  • Establishes, documents, communicates, and trains all processes and procedures. Builds and tracks metrics for gap analysis

 

The Other Qualifications:  

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field required

  • You have 2-4 years of experience working in a warehouse environment

  • You have the ability to quickly learn/use additional computer programs (i.e., Excel), and software including VIP, VPS, and web-based applications

  • You effectively present information to different audiences

  • You are a problem solver with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • You are deadly serious about results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering

  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check
