The Headlines: 

 

In the role of Maintenance Mechanic in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronics and automated systems. This includes working knowledge of metal fabrication, boiler operations and water analysis, and assisting in brew house process equipment operations as required.

  

This position is for 3rd Shift and reports to the Plant Engineer and Automation Manager. 

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Welding of black iron and stainless steel
  • Soldering and braising
  • Operation and repair of refrigeration equipment
  • Repair of systems for air, water, product, steam, CO2, and wastewater
  • Pump and process equipment repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical 110/220/440 volt systems
  • Qualified electrical worker status
  • Repair of grain handling systems
  • Load and unload of direct and indirect brewing materials
  • Operation of fork lift, bobcat, and pick-up truck with plow
  • Perform plant wide building/grounds maintenance, housekeeping, shipping/receiving maintenance, and assist with bottle house and Leinie Lodge maintenance as required
  • Physical requirements include frequent lifting, bending, kneeling and pulling.  Must also be capable of lifting and carrying 75 lb. loads and utilizing hoists for positioning of heavier loads
  • Must obtain/maintain fork lift operator certification and be capable and/or qualified to use SCBA equipment

  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering 
  • You demonstrate the ability to maintain positive demeanor and ‘can do’ attitude in spite of setbacks, disappointments, or diversity 
  • You have excellent mechanical aptitude, experience with machining, welding, and general electrical knowledge
  • You have working knowledge of the brewing process and the ability to do basic troubleshooting of automation systems 
  • All candidates must pass a pre-employment background check that includes a drug test and a verification of a high school diploma or equivalent
