The Headlines:  


In the role of Sales Collection Lead working in Chicago, IL you will be part of the Commercial Centers of Excellence team.  The person serve as point to ensure the retail master data, specifically for MillerCoors Managed Chain organization, is reliable and that accurate reporting is developed for distribution to internal and external customers.  A critical function of this role is to analyze data issues by evaluating available data and identifying effective solutions to the gaps in the data.This role will require proficient communication and influence skills, as they must engage and educate our customers and our vendor partners by asserting their own views and opinions,as well as speaking and writing clearly to get their point across.


This position reports to our Manager, Data Quality and works closely with BIS project teams and vendor partners, (e.g. Trade Dimensions, V.I.P), and is an invaluable resource to ensure data compatability and integration across the company’s technical projects. 


The Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the vendor partner resources and internal/external Store Level Analysts to collect and analyze data on a daily and weekly cadence.
  • Monitor changes in the retail outlet data for impact to Managed Chain hierarchies and personnel alignment. (Batch Reports)
  • Manage and support chain hierarchy maintenance, employee assignments and supervisory position maintenance for National and Regional Managed Chains 
  • Implement and facilitate current year Annual Add/Drop transition and validation in collaboration with national and regional chain teams 
  • Facilitate future year Add/Drop Process in collaboration with the Chain Strategy /Customer Solutions director, as well as national and regional chain teams 
  • Manage and support SMP hierarchy maintenance, employee assignments and supervisory position maintenance for SMP accounts
  • Provide infrastructure support for DSM/ASM employee assignment relationships in MDM / Incentive DB to ensure accuracy in reporting systems
  • Leverages resources to to identify issues with the migration of data between third party and internal systems to delivery accurate and consistant retail outlet master data. 
  • Own the day-to-day execution and relationship with sales collection vendor partners as it relates to Managed Chain
  • Drive the relationship with retail outet data vendor partners to becoming “best in class” to gain competitive advantage


The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
  • 3-5 years experience with data collection and maintenance background in a Fortune 500 company.
  • Advanced knowledge of retail sales reporting systems to include functional knowledge of the data sources, and uses of the data for the area of retail master data. 
  • Extensive knowledge of the three-tier system is beneficial.
