The Headlines:  

 

In the role of Distributor Sales Specialist working in Chicago, Illinois you will provide legal support to the North America US Distributor Network Development and Sales teams.  The person will an integral part of brand launches, drafting and issuing necessary distributor amendments and other compliance documentation, including brand applications and registrations.  If you enjoy exciting, fast-paced environments and are able to juggle multiple detailed projects, this will be the ideal role for you.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Support the North America Distributor Network Development team in managing distributor transactions and drafting and issuing necessary documents
  • Amend distributor agreements to reflect changes to brand and/or territory assignments
  • Collaborate with Distributor Network Development and Regulatory Affairs Specialists to understand timing of impending transactions and brand launches and facilitate successful execution of same
  • Communicate with our distributor network as necessary to secure executed amendments and other legal documentation
  • Maintain and update the company distributor agreement database

 

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • You have at least 3 years of experience at a law firm and/or corporation with in-house legal department
  • Strong experience and comfort level with database systems
  • Non-practicing JD’s considered
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
