In the role of Customer Marketing Manager based in Chicago you will be part of the Commercial Chain of Excellence. This person will work to activate the Molson Coors marketing strategy with our National On-Premise retail partners across the country. 

 

This position reports to Senior Manager of Shopper Marketing  and works closely with the National Account On-Premise Sales team. 

 

The Responsibilities:  

  • Building our portfolio of brands within our key chain customers across the class of trade to grow retailer’s beer category  
  • Brewing strong customer relationships with retail partners and internal chain sales teams, providing thought leadership on industry and activation 
  • Lead ground-up program development for key customers that is rooted in shopper insights and joint ambition with the customer to address retailer & shopper needs.  Programs should drive traffic, awareness and check.
  • Go beyond the in-dining experience and execute with excellence along the shopper journey, including digital and social as well as integration with Retailer loyalty apps.  Understanding of emerging digital solutions/e-comm is necessary. 
  • Activate and develop support plans against new brands, national packaging innovations, and local promotional packaging opportunities- uncovering how to win with innovation is critical. 
  • Regular in-market work to both evaluate the effectiveness of our plans and to identify opportunities that enable us to be first choice for our customers and consumers 

The Other Qualifications:  

  • You have at least 5 years' progressive experience in sales or marketing, Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred. 
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy   
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business  
  • You are serious about results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.   
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field.  Advanced graduate degrees are appreciated.
