Based: Sofia - Head Office

Report to: National KA Manager

What will be the main purpose of your daily job activities?

Key Accounts (KA)Chain Manager role is about identifying and assessing business opportunities on KA market, management and development of KA channel. Need to manage, maintain and develop long term business relationships with the assigned Key Accounts. Will be responsible for achievement of the targeted volumes, revenue and market share within the Key Accounts channel.  She / He will initiate, implement and control the negotiations process and trade terms execution with the Key Accounts. Communicate and coordinate the agreed trade terms with the KA chains, the business plan by client and the commercial initiatives to the Sales teams and other departments.


Our new team member will also:


  • Identifies and evaluates the business opportunities on the KA market;
  • Creates and develops long term plan and negotiations strategy with purpose for improvement and optimization of business results for the assigned Key Accounts and KA channel;
  • Manages and follows-up on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis the business results and achievement of clients targets and profitability - volumes, revenues, turnover, costs and profit;
  • Initiates, plans and executes the commercial activities in the assigned Key Accounts – negotiate, execute, follow up and evaluate;
  • Executes audit checks at store level for monitoring of the trade terms compliance and provides feedback for the trade terms correct execution to the sales team;      
  • Develops forecasts and sales volumes plan /LE/, for the purpose of Demand and Production planning.
  •  Actively participates and supplies with information for the weekly and monthly planning meetings /Demand meeting/, follows up the overdues of clients and participates in Bad Debtors meeting / jointly with Finance department/, and plans the commercial initiatives - participates in Commercial Meeting / together with Marketing and Trade marketing departments/


If you have the following…we want to hear from you!


  • University Degree, preferably Master degree;
  • Experience in sales management position - Over 3 years of key account management experience in FMCG with in-depth market and competitor knowledge;
  • Experience in long-term relationship management with business partners
  • Pro-active approach in searching opportunities and implementation of good case practices
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and coordinate processes
  • Advance user in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power point;
  • Fluent in English – both verbal & written;
  • Strategic thinking & Strong analytical skills;
  • Persuasive communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Valid driver’s license;
