Commercial Asset Manager - Maternity Cover

Reports to: Customer Experience and Asset Manager

Role overview:

In this role, you will manage and coordinate commercial assets throughout their entire lifecycle, from delivery and installation to refurbishment and write-off. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring accurate asset data, efficient logistics processes and timely execution of commercial plans.

What will you do:

• Manage and monitor commercial fixed assets across warehouses and hubs, including inventory tracking and QR creation.
• Coordinate the delivery, storage, installation and movement of new and existing assets in line with commercial plans.
• Maintain accurate asset information and ensure data consistency across RTM, SAP and supplier databases.
• Work closely with suppliers on warehousing, transportation, purchase orders, invoices, requests and other asset-related activities.
• Coordinate the refurbishment, write-off, scrapping and sale of old assets, ensuring timely transportation and transfers.
• Manage supplier claims, gather feedback and support continuous process improvement.
• Prepare monthly asset management reporting and support the annual inventory process.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure efficient asset management and business support.

Requirements:

• University degree or relevant professional experience.
• 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Logistics or a related area, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project coordination or project management.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Proactive mindset and strong customer orientation.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of commercial, procurement or logistics processes would be considered an advantage.
