Procurement Category Manager (MRO, Capex)

What you’ll do?

• Manage MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), Capex categories of intermediate to higher complexity, lead all negotiations related to these categories;
• manage key cost down projects, mobilizing and managing across the business working with key suppliers to drive cost saving targets;
• use strategic sourcing principles such as spend analysis, RFx, reverse auctions, contract management, negotiations and supplier management;
• manage supplier portfolio to ensure key operational standards are met (contract parameters and key KPIs) to maximize supplier performance;
• lead business response to supplier issues and ensure we deliver supplier performance to enable a lean supply chain;
• identify new way of working with suppliers and our business to improve our working capital performance and free up cash;
• identify requirements for supplier base and feed these requirements into global procurement to ensure supply category reviews take full account;
• provide category expertise in relation to the field of MRO and Capex.

You need us, if you:

• have bachelor’s degree preferably in economics;
• have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the field of procurement (experience within FMCG is an advantage);
• are advanced user of Microsoft Excel and preferably SAP;
• have excellent command in Hungarian and business English (written and verbal);
• are able to manage complex projects with high proficiency (experience with EU tenders is an advantage);
• are a skilled communicator, influences and negotiates in order to be successful;
• have driving license (open to travel 1-2 times a week to Bőcs).
