The purpose of this position is to apply knowledge of beer and beyond beer category best practices and consumer insights against objectives, strategies and opportunities as well as to continue to develop and to create new opportunities for strategic partnership and world-class activation in order to achieve our First-Choice ambition.
Based on long term business orientation, with a strong connection with sales and consumers, creates and implements new customer and consumer programs, thus ensuring stable and long-term growth. By providing this unique experience this position is positioned as a strategic partner of Customer business.
This position is responsible for participation in creation, planning and implementation of category strategy to all channels in accordance with set plans and to reach the best possible results and to provide ongoing assessment and monitoring to determine the effectiveness of various business tactics, they must maintain comprehensive knowledge of customers, Consumer Insights and various tools.
What you’ll do?
- Provides category expertise to the respective Marketing, Customer Marketing and Sales Teams;
- Assesses the category and analyzes the potential of evolution/opportunities of development at the category/channel level;
- Supports negotiation process with the customer and influences their category decisions, match customer needs with company capabilities: Applies knowledge of category and consumer insights along with best practices to create solutions to satisfy both company and account strategies and objectives;
- Cooperates with the sales team in order to improve knowledge in the field of the beverage category, monitors all activities in the field in order to quickly make recommendations for new activities, as well as for the evaluation of existing activities and initiatives;
- Provides information and education to the Sales Team and the Category Development and Marketing Team with customers about new sales and market trends obtained through reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Has key role in brand promotion at the point of sale, which includes analyzing and using all relevant data on consumption occasions: market statistics, customer needs and consumer habits, with the aim of designing, executing and evaluating top plans and activities for channels/customers;
- Responsible for shaping superior plans and activities (promotional and CAPEX investments) at the point of sale, using the principles of strategic thinking and execution with an understanding of customer/consumer/market needs;
- Drives the delivery of our Customer marketing solutions into key customers and channels: through the local Customer marketing team and via direct strategic customer contacts;
- Fully evaluates the impact of our Customer partnerships and ensure successful testimonials of our Customer marketing drivers and solutions are shared and rolled out to broader customer base;
- Active partnership with Customer digital area to secure digital programs integrated part of Customer marketing agenda;
- Through strategic orientation and fully understanding shopper/customer/market long term needs is responsible for creating world-class tailor-made activation platform by combination of CAPEX&promo program. Such action should provide stronger long-term partnerships and make us the true Customer lever of growth;
- Supports, educates and develops a team of engaged and highly capable category development and customer marketing managers who will be recognized for their expertise, integrity and results .

- Experience of working in FMCG company with a leading position in its category
- Knowledge in building high performance teams
- Knowledge of how to build long term partnership with external business clients
- Strategic and conceptual thinking, influencing and people leadership
- Strong technical skills in defining channel strategies based on customer, consumer and shopper insights,
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with clients, in order to drive a wide company commercial agenda
- Change management skills; Strong influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Problem solving and proactive mindset, Understanding of business and industry
- Knowledge of digital- e-comm/ e-retailer/ banners etc
- Advanced project or program management skills;
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
