You will work with Senior Business Leaders and Regional team, to provide clear, timely and accurate financial analysis and insights into the results and forecasts, and to influence operational and strategic decision making. You will partner with the Leadership Team to ensure awareness of performance, opportunities and improvements, and drive for standardization and improvements in Process and Reporting across the Country.

The Finance Controller role reports to Finance Director, has direct reports and is in Bucharest Bergenbier offices (HQ), working in a hybrid setup.

More about your role:

• Provide direction and leadership to the Commercial Finance and FP&R Team to ensure a high-quality performance.
• Ownership of all aspects financial reporting including monthly financial statements, budgets, and statutory reporting. Responsible for financial output of management information packs to CLT and MCE Consolidation Team. This includes, P&L, cash, PACC, ZBB, tax, CAPEX and receivables management.
• Responsible for delivery and central coordination of the long range and annual operating plans, and of continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and methodology.
• Responsible for total Business Unit performance review & commentary across all primary financial statements.
• Identify areas of opportunity and improvement with senior business leaders and influence operational and strategic decision making.
• Utilizes information to influence operational and strategic decision making at senior management and CLT level.
• Coordinate financial work for business cases and ensure alignment with the business financial strategy.
• Ensure maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and adherence to group policies.

This role is crafted for you if have:

• Finance, Accounting or Economics Degree level qualification
• Advanced English level in writing, speaking, reading and understanding
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting / relevant local GAAP and US GAAP
• Strong communication skills to influence and negotiate with great latitude on outcomes, usually internally and often at a high level.
• Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.
• Business acumen: comprehensive understanding of a significant part of the business (how functions operate, integrate, set targets), together with industry knowledge and an understanding of economic/ commercial/political issues affecting the industry.
• Management skills to drive, develop and engage commercial controller team.
