The Headlines:

In the role of Global Pensions Manager working in Milwaukee you will be part of the Global Treasury team. This individual will manage the enterprise pension financial strategy and the Outsourced Chief Investment Officers as well as assist in the management of the North America DC plans. 

This position reports to the Director – Global Financial Risk & Pensions and works collaboratively both within Treasury and with various business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of activities.

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage enterprise pension governance processes including investment strategy, funding and risk management
  • Quantify, forecast & report the financial impacts of pension activities (e.g. pension expense, etc.)
  • Work with defined benefit and defined contribution fiduciaries across the globe to optimize:
    • Plan asset allocation strategies
    • Investment manager evaluation & selection
    • Investment consultant and actuary evaluation & selection
    • DB/DC plan benefit design 
  • Partner with global OCIO’s to drive improved pension investment performance while mitigating overall enterprise financial risk
  • Implement strategic changes to global pension plans including liability management and risk settlements
  • Directly responsible for all Governance and Investment Subcommittee materials for North America Pension and DC plans as well as Global Finance Committee materials for Global Pensions.
  • Responsible for reviewing the reporting of all pension numbers globally for the 10-Q’s and 10-K’s

 

The Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
  • You have 5+ years of experience in global treasury, finance, other relevant analytical finance work in a complex, multinational environment
  • Strong practical knowledge of pensions
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • You serve as a visible change agent and a transformational leader
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment, and can gain commitment and coordinated action on projects or initiatives
  • You have the credibility to influence others and possess strategic thought leadership
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to assess situations and provide an objective, non-biased point of view
